Tropical Water Lilies

Day and night blooming- tropical water lilies should be planted in pots at least 10" in diameter (a smaller container will result in a smaller plant) ... I read it somewhere in the net. Ok, mine is about 10" radius. That comes to 10 x 2 = 20" in diameter. Wow ... my Math is good!
And, that size is way more than enough for potting tropical water lilies. Check! Correct size!
The plant can now be lowered into the water to a depth of approximately 6 inches over the crown of the water lily. I continued my reading somewhere in the net. Ok, mine is 6 inches ... Ops ... wait a minute! I think it's a little higher than that. 8 inches, maybe! Ok, another check! Correct depth!
As the plant grows, it can be lowered to a depth of 12 inches. Oh no ... mine couldn't go that deep. The pot is too shallow. Tooot! Whammy! One blooper! :(
Fertilizer tablets should be added every 3-4 weeks. Tooot! Another whammy! No wonder I don't see any flower for like, 6 months already! I haven't been feeding my plants enough! I thought all those fish droppings are enough fertilizer (going natural is always supposed to be good, huh!) for the tropical water lilies. Boy, was I wrong! Alright, I'll get the fertilizer you need. Just give me those beautiful pink flowers as before. I love them and they really are enchanting and enthralling.
And, I'll post the pictures right here in this blog ... Just you wait! Tropical Water Lilies ...
