To Cut or Not to Cut

I wanted a pergola ... or is it an arbor?

I have the pergola .. errr .. arbor ..
whatever! But look at the morning glory that is supposed to beautify the 'whatever'. It grows way too glory that it looks like an unkempt hair-style. What style is this?

Eeuuuuww ... I don't like it! Half of me feels like cutting it down but the other half is stopping me from doing just that! I am battling against myself over a vine. Urghh!!!

Help!!

Looks like it needs a higher dose of Nitrogen to boost the blooming, people tend to use a regular flower food where if you find one with a higher nitrogen level it produces more blooms.

Give it a little more time for the morning glory to make glory. Soon it will be good enough for a photo shoot or modelling session. Happy weekend, Blossom.

Hi! I walked thro' a maze of blogs and landed here! Your pergola with the morning glory looks do dainty! I dread planting vines as I can never manage to make them grow in an orderly fashion :(
If you haven't got your answer yet to your post of May 28 (What is this plant?), here it is. That beautiful plant is Chrysothemis pulchella, also called the black flamingo or copper leaf.

Hi Blossom~~ Life is too short. Girl, cut that dang thing down if you don't like it! LOL There are tons of other vines you can choose from. I have grown Morning Glory too with similar results. It will swallow the neighborhood if left to its own devices. Not only that, but three summers later, I'm STILL pulling seedlings from my soil.

Anyway, my two bits. I hope it helped. :]

To get to it to this point please let it flower before you decide. A flower changes everything LOL.
